Good base, lacks comfort

Liked: Good location, room and bathroom were spacious
Disliked: Rather old interior, and wven if ’clean’ was not very sanitary nor inviting

Pretty, and great food at...

Liked: The rooms look nice/updated. The location was nice. The staff were super friendly. And the restaurant was EXCELLENT.
Disliked: If you look closely, the updates are very superficial to the flooring and other aspects. The room was a sauna when we got in. We had to figure out how to use the ac unit and then left for an hour for the room to cool down.

I never want to go...

Liked: Staff was nice for NY standards. WiFi signal was good and did not break like in some more expensive hotels. Room size was not bad for what you get in NY
Disliked: The room price was extremely high for the quality of the accommodation. Room was almost completely dark and gloomy - no daylight was coming through. There was a tiny window that opens right to a nearby wall and pigeon poop was everywhere. The only thing that saves this hotel is the location. But not worth the money. Bathroom was acceptable clean-wise but all in granite and it felt like you are in public toilets.

Short stay in New York

Liked: The Location as it was near Central Park , numerous restaurants and subways. Also there was an attached restaurant which did gluten free pasta which was good.
Disliked: There wasn't any where to get a hot drink without going out.

Perfect location, friendly and value...

Liked: Three blocks down from Central Park - so amazing location. Staff so helpful especially the night staff. Despite being so central it was quiet. Discount on a great Italian below the hotel with great food
Disliked: A little dated in style - and no kettle/tea coffee facilities

Very much enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Location, staff, restaurant.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned every day.
