At last a proper-size pool!...

Liked: Was our first time visiting & Everything was amazing. This place is truly stunning. The pool area was my favourite. The food in the evening was really good. Breakfast had a good choice of food. Only downside there was a wedding at our visit & and the guests were screaming and shouting till 4am kicking & banging doors which kept us awake. Climbing through windows. The staff had told them it was lights out but yet they still kept on. Other than this we had a lovely night, will return in the future.

Out in the Boondocks

Liked: The room and hotel were nice but the location was way out in the country and not convenient at all. It didn’t look that far out on Google maps.

Bad

Disliked: The room wasn't very clean at all. There was womens hair underneath the duvet along with bits and also there were stains on there very dissatisfied with the room. There was banging and people shouting and swearing throughout the night and morning.

Liked: Breakfast Choice was excellent.Room Spacious and Comfortable.Staff were courteous, accommodating, friendly. Evening Meal was freshly cooked and very enjoyable.

Superb

Liked: The spa and pool facility was beautiful. Stunning scenery everywhere we looked. The lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful.the weather helped with seeing the true beauty of the area. Food was delicious aswell would love to visit again

We enjoyed the stay.

Liked: The room was very very spacious, but parts needed fixing, such as the windows. As it is a old building they need to keep on top of it more.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't good, we paid extra on the day as the room charge didn't include breakfast, but it was hard, not good produce used and milk for cereal was warm! no atmosphere in the room, music radio etc would have been nice. the spa changing rooms were very dirty, lots of hair on the floor, showers are trying to be eco friendly but they only last for seconds! staff friendly and helpful as were not given enough towel coupons! Windows were completely rotten wood, falling apart in the cottage accommodation, no bath which there was plenty of room for! space not used effectively. it rained and as we didn't know we would be in the cottage we didn't have coats (thinking we wouldn't need them to get food etc) and it was pouring down, umbrellas in the room would be useful!
