Liked: Breakfast was adequate but a bit casual.

Excellent stay

Liked: Staff excellent, provided breakfast which we didn't expect small but fantastic, loved the old building feel 👍👍
Disliked: Nothing

Not happy with overall standard....

Liked: Location was good and relatively quiet
Disliked: Standard of toilet paper was poor. The tea and coffee making facilities were poor. The aircon leaked all over the balcony outside the room and made the floor slippery and dangerous. The loo was up against the wall almost and difficult to sit on. Breakfast hours were from 7-8am only so we didn't have it either day as we needed a sleep in.

Exceptional

Liked: The King size bed, and the quiet very large room, the balcony, the sitting room and the ensuite
Disliked: The husband struggled with the steep stairs due to a buggered knee and a fused ankle.

Passable

Comfortable with old-world charm.

Liked: The hosts at Cumquat House were lovely, and the room had old-world charm. The view from the balcony was good, and the bed was very comfortable.

Great location in a historic...

Liked: Nice well presented rooms and a good breakfast just a bit slow because they cooked each person individually but that’s only a minor issue.
Disliked: Nothing major
