We loved the hotel. We loved the decor of the lobby which paid tribute to the history of Knoxville. We loved the tradition of ringing the train bell at 8:55 in recognition of the first train to Knoxville in 1855. Great hotel.
Liked: The decor; the spacious room; the location; the staff; breakfast.
Disliked: None.

This was a very nice hotel and very convenient to Market Square and the Thompson Boling Arena. The rooms were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service is a top priority at this hotel. The night of the concert cabs were available at a reduced cost. I would definitely return to this hotel!
Liked: Staff was extremely friendly.

Liked: Hotel was very nice and clean, within walking distance to the concert. Seemed to be well patrolled during our walk back to the hotel after the concert.
Disliked: Valet parking - don't do it. Paid the few dollars extra instead of parking it myself and walking back across the street. What a mistake, they brought all the valet parked cars up on Saturday morning due to no valets that day and parked them on the lot around the hotel and left my drivers window completely rolled down. My car was the only one, which virtually made my car a target for any thief in the area. Was so p**sed I thought my head would pop off. Sent an e-mail to the company and they have still not replied almost a week later.

Made reservations in Oct. 2012 for a room with two queen beds. Was told when we arrived that we had room with one king bed. Imagine that - one bed for 4 individuals to sleep in! The gentleman working at the desk that afternoon went above and beyond the call of duty to try to solve the problem by putting 2 roll away beds in our room. The lady at the desk had a take it or leave it attitude that I found very rude and unprofessional. We were at their mercy because we had no other choice - we could have canceled and lost our money and slept on the street with the homeless but it was too cold for that. Needless to say we made 2 trips out of it - our first and last. The sad part of this matter is that the hotel was a Sheraton - a 5 star hotel and not a little country inn out in the sticks!
Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Not getting the type of room that my reservation stated.
