Located on the seafront overlooking Bournemouth Bay this iconic and uniquely styled hotel has a 1930s Art Deco style a seasonal outdoor heated pool a day spa and a lido deck. Disliked: False advertisement of rooms, when I spoke to the receptionist she was rude about it and said it was booking.coms fault. Felt more like a hostel than a 4* hotel. Description says indoor pool but had to go to the hotel next door to use it. Food is overpriced, room smelt damp and could hear banging from other rooms till early clocks, rooms are not soundproof can hear everything in the corridors, lift was Dodgey and tiny, outdoor pool is not heated as advertised, no fridge, would not stay again

Liked: Great view, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Disliked: Had to pay for parking, the hotel was a bit tired looking.

We enjoyed the food/ cocktails...

Liked: I mainly come back to this hotel as I loved the restaurant the steak is amazing same as the cocktails I also was visiting the Portsmouth outlet so this hotel was a short drive away
Disliked: The first room we got given had a funny smell we didn't think much of it as only staying a night but when we went to go to bed we found it hadn't been cleaned properly as there was cigarette butt's and packets for making cigarettes all over the room including a lighter we did address this to the staff and they moved our room and dealt with the situation correctly which we appreciate we will return in the future 100% and hope this was a one off mistake
