Pleasant enough for a short...

Liked: We had dinner in the restaurant which was incredible! Lovely, fresh food.The bed was an excellent size and comfortable and the room was spacious. Bathroom had been decorated beautifully.
Disliked: Both the room and restaurant were unclean. Shower curtain in the room was mouldy, skirtings and carpet unclean particularly around the edges. When in the restaurant we were sat next to a window. There was visible thick dust on the blinds and food splatters around the window frame. Additionally, the door to our room looked as though forced entry had been required at one point, which was slightly concerning.

Liked: Room clean and bed comfortable. Excellent value for price. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Given low rating only for lack of sleep due to other guests (see below)Adjoining room and didn't have time to ask for change (not sure if even possible) when I arrived back at 12am there was no one in reception. About 10 minutes after the guests staying next door arrived back clearly had a drink and stayed up until half 4 in the morning. The were loud at parts but mostly just talking and I heard every word as if they were right next to me. Now although its not really the hotels fault there was no one in reception to complain to (at least when I came in) also as I was a solo traveller, not exactly going to tell them to shut up or feel safe trying to see if I could find a member of staff to move me rooms so I didn't get to sleep until half 4. As I said not really hotels fault but I wouldn't stay here again based on adjouning rooms and I would assume adjoining rooms only be used when hotel was at maximum occupancy which I doubt it was, maybe I was just unlucky but I didn't feel too safe being myself for this reason. There could have very well been a phone number at reception but I wasn't going to walk about looking for one at that time of night. There was no number/phone in the room to call anyone. Is it fair to blame the hotel? But either way based on that, I probably wouldn't stay again unless could be guaranteed a quieter room.

Liked: easy to find and park. good location on outskirts of city. large and comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom, much nicer than i expected for what i paid. Very welcoming staff. One guest was unpleasant to the waiter at breakfast, and he just carried on smiling and being helpful.
Disliked: no issues.

Nice clean comfortable room

Liked: Convenient location, although dearer than last time , still reasonable.
Disliked: Came down for breakfast at 9.10 , on a Sunday to be told breakfast was finished, very disappointed, especially as we weren’t told.
