Liked: All staff were friendly. Beachfront location. No rooms are really on the beach, but they have more of a side view. Ours had a great sunset view. Beachfront pool and bar area. Easy walk to quite charming downtown with good shops and restaurants. Clean and updated guest room.
Disliked: No fault of the hotel, but being so close to the freeway so that you can constantly hear it doesn’t add to a great beach vibe. Easy fix for them—both the American and California flags need replacement ASAP. Maybe an easy fix. Elevators buttons seem to need an extra push or two after scanning the key card. Kind of a pain with hands full. Moderate-ish fix. Carpets near the elevators were quite soiled.
