Very fair service was terrible...

Liked: The reception staff on check in was nice, clean tidy room
Disliked: Starting with the bar upstairs, I was waiting staff advised won't be long and continued to move items etc about 5 mins later they ended up serving someone else before me. They had no idea about the welcome package I paid for and what to do so we waited, my husband then went to bar to order another drink and again they were too busy talking and doing other things then to serve. Our first sign of incredibly poor service. We then had paid for dinner and whilst food was lovely, the 1 staff member did not come and take an order for any other drinks, he looks like he had people he knew come in and order coffee and then was just caught up with talking to them, we had told him after finishing main that we would be ready for dessert in 10 mins, we had to call him over after about 20 mins to ask to bring it out. We then have never experienced a buffet breakfast as poorly run and disorganised as the one the next morning, we had to wait quite a while to be seated, when we were there were numerous things we had to ask staff for, cutlery, butter, no water in coffee machine, plates, the service was appalling and I definitely would have expected so much more from crown plazaWhen asked at reception how was our stay I was honest and said just fair, they did credit me back my welcome package of drinks and antipasto $49 but unfortunately this whilst I appreciate the gesture did not make up for a weekend for my 28th wedding anniversary with my husband that was supposed to feel and be special, we actually couldn't wait to leave. I do hope you take the feedback on board and improve as there were several customers at the breakfast also needing to ask for things that had run out, we had hot food cooked and couldn't eat as didn't even have cutlery, there was a drawer full of cutlery but staff advised I couldn't take any when I went up to ask and would bring it over and that took awhile so food was cold my the time he remembered

Such a great stay, will...

Liked: The best customer service we have experienced in a long time. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly and willing to assist with any request or enquiry, and we were greeted by everyone with a smile and genuine conversation. Plenty of parking space out the front of the hotel to check in and it was so easy to find parking in the on-site parking facilities. The room was very clean and provided us with ample amenities for our stay.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.

Liked: Facilities good, very comfortable beds, good size room, good location.
Disliked: Parking very tight. Breakfast on Sunday: staff were not able to keep up with demand. I sat at a table without cutlery for quite a while and ended up choosing finger food. Also tried to charge for 4 nights parking when only 2 were used. Room cleaning didn’t happen till later in the afternoon.
