Disliked: traffic noise, Freezing lobby, restaurant and pool area. Had to eat breakfast with our coats on. Rooms remodeled and looks like your sleeping in an office building with no carpet and bed place where cubical was. Glass door on bathroom. Turning bathroom light on at night lights up whole room and wakes everyone up. I reserved a Standard King Room with Sofa bed as advertised with picture. The room does not has sofa only small table and two kitchen type chairs. no comfortable place to relax. We will never stay here again.

Disliked: The remodeled room has a very noisy heating system that woke us up each time it was on. The main complaint was weird personnel in breakfast room. The staffing was pretty weird.

Disliked: I couldn’t even sleep, the blinds didn’t cover the entire window and the have really old loud heaters that keep you up all night

Liked: The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. I think they've been trained to be so kind that you can't get grumpy with them about all the deficiencies of an overpriced hotel. They are seriously great people.
Disliked: The first room was so loud from I-5 traffic that we asked to be moved. And we were. Yet the second room had so many VOCs from the newly hung wallpaper and vinyl floors that I felt ill. I decided not to bother the very nice people at the front desk again, so I lived with it. In the several times I've attempted to like this property, it's never been great. It's always under renovation, one elevator is never working, and the lobby and elevator walls and molding and floors look like they haven't been cleaned in years. The sidewalks and the concrete outside are a mess (seriously need to be cleaned or something), and the parking lot is dangerously dark. The windows are paper thin, and noise travels through them easily; I doubt they have ever been updated. The bartender/waiter was very friendly; however, the ginger salad was far too spicy to enjoy; even my husband, who likes heat, couldn't eat it. AND BOOKING.COM did a bate and switched on the price. I have a screenshot of $167 a night but was charged $188+ the higher taxes that go with that so the total bill for one night with $10.00 "parking" (seriously) was over $235.00 -and the hotel won't match online booking rates. We should have stayed at the brand-new Best Western down the street.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Below standard for Crowne Plaza, it was noisy, under construction, under staffed, the rooms are bleak and uncomfortable, the bed smelled like vics vapo rub, I had to change rooms. The room service was horrible. Food was cold and undercooked. The costs was ridiculous Over $500 for two nights for a hotel that was similar in standard to a qualitiy inn or below. Nickel and dime for everything. I also left my $75 sleep mask in the hotel room and I went back for it and they couldn't find it.
