Good location, nice staff

Liked: Location was great, but what really made this hotel good, was the staff. They were helpful, friendly and professional. We stayed in a premium king room with sea views. The room was ok, it was a bit tired, could do with a carpet clean, general paint and I wish they stopped using the decorative pillows on the beds. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was great, good selection of food. We tried the Marco Pierre White restaurant only because it was raining heavily and we didn’t want to go back out. The food was fine but service was slow. I am not sure why as the place was not busy. Lounge access was hit and miss. One night it was better than others but again, staff, Michael, has made it a nice place to be. For me it’s not worth the money if you are paying for it as an extra. We used the pool, which was nice and you get given towels as you enter. It was not busy and it was a perfect place to be in a rainy afternoon.

Liked: The location was convenient. The room was fine. It was clean but the shower kept leaking and there was suttle toilet smell coming from somewhere. The bathroom attached to the room smelled clean so I am not sure where it was coming from. The staff were very friendly.

Liked: Hotel was nice and clean. Pool area was disappointing but the pool staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar prices were extortionate. Good location but very expensive for room only.
