Fab location & brilliant breakfast....
Liked: Lovely hotel in the perfect city centre location. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy, I had the best nights sleep id had in a long while, and the breakfast was absolutely beautiful
Disliked: We booked an early check-in to make use of the spa facilities (this was the reason we chose this hotel over the Best Western), but the steam room was out of order. The steam room is one of my partners favourite things so this was a bit annoying. Still enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi however, i did cut my leg (only a small cut) on a raised tile in the pool. The room was smaller than I had anticipated though it did meet our needs. For the most part it was clean. Fresh bedding, dusted and vaccumed, smelt nice, but there were stains on the curtains, the toilet didnt flush properly and the towel rail broke when I put the towel back after washing my hands.

High end but sadly not,...
Liked: Location and friendly staff.Shower was hot, with plenty of towels and tea, coffee facilities.
Disliked: For a hotel that charges over £100 a night, with no Breakfast included, which would cost you an extra £30 per couple. We had mould in our bathroom and our mattress had a hole in it with a nasty spring sticking through it, absolutely shocking and dangerous. To be honest, we have stayed in a Travel Lodges and never had these problems or issues. Very disappointed with this hotel and probably wouldn't stay again. We feel that this hotel is claiming to be high end but simply isn't. Although there was Spa facilities, you simply have no chance of using them, if your check in time is 3pm, you can't pre book an early check in, until 24hrs before you arrive, then it's another £30 or £40, just for the pleasure.
