Liked: The hotel is modern and in a fantastic location, very near to the station and a short walk into the city centre and quayside. The room had everything I needed. I booked a standard room but was allocated an accessible room with a roll in shower / wet room upon check in as the hotel was very busy. Whilst I would have preferred a room with a proper shower, it was great to see that the hotel has accessible accommodation for wheelchair users. The spa area is nice but was very busy, and there were young children playing in the pool and splashing around (it was Saturday afternoon)… not quite the relaxing experience I had hoped for!

Liked: The pool facilities, was happy with my room and just generally the fact that I was on my own for a night
Disliked: The busy foyer when I arrived but there was an event
