I had a great stay at the hotel. Everything was in top order; the room was excellent and you couldn't ask for better beds. Overall, everthing was just excellent. Checking in and checking out was also fast and easy. Just great.

The staff was rude and...

Liked: Room was fine, the food was fine, the buffet was seriously overpriced for what was offered but we had other food choices. The girl in the restaurant was busy with her boyfriend rather than waiting on us and her tables. We had to ask several times for the same things. Other people had to follow up with her for togo containers and other things as well.
Disliked: At checkin, the desk agent raised the price $30 from what we paid for the room on Booking.com. I told her I had called and confirmed the room price and parking after with Crown Plaza's 800#. She said I should have called the front desk, that the 800# people don't know what they charge at the hotel, only the front desk staff does. It was late and we had paid for the booking online so we were stuck. We told them we had early flights, did we need to reserve the shuttle. They said no. We came down at 5:15 to check out and get the shuttle for our 7:00AM flight. The morning desk clerk was downright rude and literally didn't come out to the front desk when we needed to check out until I shouted for her several times, didn't speak when speak to me when I said good morning, when we asked her asking about the airport shuttle she said it would be back in 5 minutes. We were in the lobby at 5:15 and we waited nearly 30 minutes for the shuttle. She kept saying it would be back and I had to ask her to call the driver to see where he was since we had been waiting so long. She gave me such a dirty look but finally obliged and called him. Again she said he would be 5 minutes. There were about 10 people waiting, finally 3 of the people waiting were so stressed out at how long it was taking, they called an Uber to take them to the airport. Several of the people waiting said the same thing we said, we would never stay at this hotel again.

Liked: the remodel is great, great atmosphere. The new restaurant is upscale but its a good choice for families. Most kids wont like these flavor pallets, Sometimes simple is better or at least give that option.
Disliked: I have stayed there (Louisville Location)numerous times. Both with my kids and with out, the pantry has numerous options but to me lacks a staple item. MILK, there is NO milk option and traveling with kids its an inconvenience. So I went and asked the restaurant for 4 glasses of milk. It was $20 including a average Standard tip, Come on guys just a basic 2% pint or quart of milk. Thanks
