Great hotel, great facilities and...

Liked: Nice hotel which was pretty convenient to the O2 via the cable cars. Although it should be noted that the cable cars were not running when the evening event in the O2 was over and we had to get the tube back which was fine. The room was nice with actual brick walls between the rooms instead of the typical cardboard walls which you can hear everything through. The breakfast was also superb with pretty much everything you could want on offer. It was also nice to have a pool which is quite rare for London hotels and our kids loved it. It's also very close to the Excel too and as an added bonus there is a Tesco right next door for picking up water etc.
Disliked: The window in our room didn't seal properly and you could hear noise from outside but as it was a quiet area it wasn't too much of an issue. Also there seemed to be an issue with condensation in the room and the window always appeared to be wet on the inside.

Ideal space to stay when...

Liked: Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for Excel centre, very beautiful riverside location, felt safe and quiet and good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and the staff were very attentive. Special recommendation to Gusserr, Silviya and Lilia.
Disliked: The spa staff should have tokens for the lockers for hotel guests, I did get one with a little help from the hotel manager who was very helpful.
