One set of elevators didn't work, two others were just slow - we didn't ride on an elevator the entire time.
Liked: Close to the venue.
Disliked: TV didn't work; elevators didn't work; printer didn't work; staff was very unhelpful.

Liked: The staff was very kind and the Improv Comedy Club that we were going to was right across the highway. There is also a shuttle that will take you to your destination of a 5 mile radius and will bring you back as long as it's before 11pm. Awesome experience.

Perfect suite for a big...
Liked: Beds very comfortable and big suite. Sofa with good size. Great location and good breakfast. It could improve the kitchen appliances and assure that all bath towels set and bed sets for sofa is going to be available for total people. And assure refill to bath supplies.

Terrible
Disliked: As a former hospitality industry professional, I have never criticized or complained about any service on social media because I understand how challenging their jobs can be. However, my experience at the Crowne Plaza Houston Galleria Area by IHG made me extremely uncomfortable.First, the hotel is located next to I-10 highway, and while I expected some noise, I did not anticipate it to be this loud. My room, 333, was at the corner of the building, objectively the closest to the highway. The noise from the highway kept me awake all night long. Additionally, whenever a guest slammed their door, I could feel the entire hallway shaking. The hotel was painting the corridors on the operating floors, and the strong smell of paint was overwhelming. Now, let’s talk about the service:Staff Using Guest Elevators – I have never seen hotel employees allowed to use guest elevators when a staff elevator is available. In this hotel, despite the staff elevator being close to the guest elevator and not in use, employees openly used the guest elevator. Am I outdated, or isn't separating guest and staff elevators one of the basic standards in hotel service? No Drinking Water – There were no water dispensers in the rooms or on the floors. If a guest wanted water, they had to take the elevator all the way down to the front desk to get some. There was no complimentary or even paid bottled water in the room. I understand the need to cut costs, but have the managers calculated whether forcing guests to use the elevator frequently actually saves money? The electricity and maintenance costs of an elevator trip far exceed the mere 8 cents it takes to provide a bottle of water. By the way, the complimentary coffee pods in the room were undrinkable—I suggest checking their expiration dates. Seriously, they tasted awful.Housekeeping Service – I needed a small bar of soap, and while I understand it’s not a necessity for every guest, there was none in the room.
