Really lovely stay, fab breakfast...

Liked: The breakfast was fantastic - loved that the chef was cooking eggs to order - omelets, poached eggs etc. and was a great selection of good teas and homemade jam. Lots of fruit as well. And perfectly sized sweet treats to finish.
Disliked: I had a really lovely stay so this is purely looking for what possibly could have been improved rather than being something I didn't like - it would have been good to have some kind of food to offer post 10pm after the restaurant closes. The vending machines were cash only, so for guests arriving late or coming back late, even if it's just fruit and biscuits/crisps. Or a vending machine that also takes card payments.

Liked: The room was spacious. The bed was firm. The shower was hot and the water pressure very good. The breakfast was just the right combination of options. The prepared omlette was particulary good and the coffee was excellent. The location for attendance at the Berlin Film Festival and EFM was great - a 10-15 minutes walk.
Disliked: I found the pillows in the room to be too soft for me. I like to have a firm pillow and don't mind a soft pillow as well. So a combination is good. I would also have like to have had access to BBC World on the TV but it wasn't available.

Very good hotel located near...

Liked: The hotel is a bit out of the way. It is located near a circus with several good restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with many hot and cold selections to choose from.
Disliked: No problems - excellent hotel.

Liked: Great breakfast and bar area. Reception staff lovely too.
Disliked: Annoying housekeeping who don’t understand do not disturb. Rooms a little dated.

Liked: Amazing choice !!!The hotel was right across from underground so getting around was simple . The hotel was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was supplied with lovely toiletries. The hotel provide a new bottle of water to the room daily which was a nice touch and appreciated All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and peaceful
Disliked: It was all excellent. The only thing that I personally prefer is pillow protectors, as the pillow slips come loose so you end up on the actual pillowThat being said the hotel was immaculately clean 😃
