Liked: Lovely decor and staff - all were friendly, polite and helpful. excellent location for thorpe park, nice little town centre, easy to book and check in, check out etc. Modern room with facilties, very happy with room rates
Disliked: Unfortunately about to close for a couple of weeks refit, so frontage got the scaffolding covering the beautiful exterior, also bathroom a bit tired and stained...about to be done I bet, room key card always took 3 tries to get in door, no main overhead light in room, nice character having several lamps but difficult to get ready. Food was v nice but felt the pricing of food and drink a bit high and several items unavailable (as closing cannot replenish i understand but just a down point) Bed 2 singles together and hard join ie

Liked: Old style charm, staff for the hotel was very friendly, staff at the restaurant was very accommodating to a gluten allergy, heat/AC in the room, location was convenient and was nice to have a restaurant/pub attached to the hotel for easy access to meals.
Disliked: Room wasn’t the cleanest. Stains on carpeting, tv remote was really dirty, bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and mildew odor in the room. Fire alarm randomly went off really early one of the mornings abruptly waking us up.
