Lovely people, the room could...
Liked: The staff were lovely, and the location was great.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the room needed some attention, there was a horrible smell in the room which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

OK for a night. A...
Liked: Well placed in Chipping Norton. Bar open late so we were able to have a drink after the theatre. Toiletries provided. Keith Moon used to own The Crown and Cushion back in the day I believe. Very handsome building on the outside.
Disliked: Very dated and needs a complete refurbishment. There was a sign outside our door which said 'this is a smoking room' which shows how long it is since its been decorated. The room was acceptable but clearly some areas needed to be cleaned properly and it was very tired. Towels very worn and rough. However, we needed a room at the last minute and we were pleased to find they had availability.Breakfast was plentiful but a lot of it was prepacked. The pain au chocolate etc were individually wrapped and not pleasant.Old style Country and Western music on a loop in the bar and at breakfast. So much could be done with this fine building but it needs a lot of money spent on it.
