A lovely relaxing stay

Liked: A lovely quiet location. Breakfast was really good. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Nice view of the castle. Parking was easy.

Good location, pleasant staff.

Disliked: Original room small and shower leaked. We were moved to a much larger room which was OK.

Liked: The main building was beautiful. Room was a good size and the door onto the shared garden would have been nice in warmer weather.
Disliked: We hadnt realised that garden view rooms were in a motel style building rather than in the main old building. Room good size but were disappointed to be in an out building. Beds needed replacing, comfy but also lacking any spring to them. Shower was very loud, more so in the bedroom that the bathroom.

Overall very good

Liked: Very nice breakfast but very slow service.
Disliked: Car parking was tight and service at breakfast slow.
