I didn’t stay, I found...

Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: It was dark, unlit, didn’t even have a sign outside to identify it as a 3 star hotel (which it purports to be), it was not clear where to go to check in. When I got there I was refused check in (used in the loosest send of the word- it was a tatty table with a laptop on it) as I didn’t have my passport or credit card (I wasn’t willing to hand either of these things over as it all seemed so dodgy). I decided not to stay as it all felt really awful and unwelcoming. Asked for a refund & they refused.

Disliked: Heating didn’t come on until 6 at night in the Scottish winter …it could now do with a refurb ..looking very tired

Warm, elegant, quiet suburban hotel...

Liked: The staff were discreet, helpful and attended to all my needsIn fact, they exceeded my expectations. The room was warm, spacious, with nice antique furniture. The TV was modern and large. The shower room was spotless with high quality fixtures and toiletries. The tea and coffee, kettle and hairdryer were of decent quality. The management and staff made me feel very welcome. Thank you all!
