Liked: loved how clean and warm the place was attention to detail was phenomenal.
Disliked: the food was terrible the dinner we had lamb and it was cooked in a sauce and had grizzle and burnt taste.breakfast was inedible bacon was so hard I couldn't eat it.think the food menu and chef need to come up with a different type of menu

Disliked: Been to much nicer castles. Service pretty average. Issue with our bathroom which was not acknowledged. Breakfast ok but not outstanding as one would expect from this type of property.

Disliked: Housekeeping response was poor. Reported malfunctioning sink plug lever. They attended to it but didn’t fix it - disappointing.

Liked: Staff very kind and welcoming, loved everything about the property itself loved the vintage style interior and they had a boss river and garden walk dog loved it. Photos don’t do it justice

Fantastic hotel

Liked: Everything was fantastic. The castle is beautiful, and was festively decorated with lots of comfortable seating areas, with open fires, and even a champagne cart. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great dinner and breakfast. We’d absolutely go back!
