Cheap and cheerful

Liked: Location was fantastic, about 10 mins along the main road from Kilburn Underground. Local shops and cafes in immediate vicinity. What I paid (which was a bargain) reflected what I got so no complaints there.
Disliked: Despite the hotel’s non-smoking policy my room stank of cigarette smoke. Can’t necessarily hold them personally accountable for that of course but a squirt or two of air freshener would’ve been very welcome.

Budget accommodation with excellent links...

Liked: Good transport links. Pub and supermarket nearby. My room looked out onto a side road, rather than Cricklewood Broadway.
Disliked: Too hot, even in the autumn. Head of bed next to window, so traffic noise could be a problem.

Liked: Budget hotel but clean tidy and great location for Wembley stadium, 3 or 4 stops from Kilburn tube. Friendly staff.

Liked: A very easy commute to the tube station, easily accessible, had everything I required for my stay, staff were brilliant, good amenities in the room. Also had a kettle, which is always a plus in my book!
Disliked: TV didn't work, room was very very tight - turning the corner was awkward - and the taps of the sink were a bit temperamental.
