The 17th-century Grade I-listed Crewe Hall is set in extensive grounds in the Cheshire countryside with historic Jacobean and modern architecture. Expensively underwhelming. And still not...

Liked: The room was comfortable.
Disliked: The property is vast, over a large and complicated lay out. The map given at reception inadequate to the task. The rooms a complicated rabbit warren.Signage poor to useless. I still did not find a way to the pool within the hotel.. resorted to driving my car there and back.Not sufficient parking close to the entrances.Poor lighting in parking areas. Staff pleasant , but generally disinterested and unhelpful. Breakfast .. a step up from McDonalds.
