Lovely 2nd stay here, would...

Liked: Room comfortable, all essentials covered, double room with lovely garden view. Staff friendly, welcoming and informative. Special mention to staff in restaurant, I am coeliac and need gluten free options, staff knowledgable regarding my requirements including cross contamination issues, I felt most reassured and enjoyed a good breakfast every morning, many thanks to you all, especially for bringing me gluten free toast !
Disliked: Nothing

The hotel was perfect for...

Liked: The hotel was in a good location to access the places I was there to see . Despite the noises, I slept really well. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and perfect for what I wanted , just a place to get my head down and shower in between my travels.
Disliked: Because the hotel is old there is lots of creaking of floor boards and you can hear every door bang shut or being locked . And you can hear people in the next rooms quite clearly , noise travels in the hotel. Just take earplugs if you are staying. The food was ok but reminded me of school dinners. The hotel was coming to the end of season , as a result they were running stock down which meant limited choices at the bar and in the restaurant. One thing I thought was odd , when I was booking out and settling my bill the person on reception didn't ask me if I had a good stay or if everything was ok, which I thought was odd. The room was clean but some of the ceiling in the bathroom was missing, it had obviously fallen down previous to my visit.

A disappointing problem with the...

Liked: The location
Disliked: There was a complication with the room , we were allocated an ordinary twin with garden view rather than king twin with garden view, but charged at the king twin rate. After I pointed this out they compensated financially but did not offer the king twin room.I contacted the management when we returned home and the explanation was that there never was a twin king and a decision to allocate the ordinary twin was taken without consulting us.

Really worthwhile, clean, efficient, friendly,...

Liked: I was very pleased with my most comfortable stay. I was in room 508, in what looked like a new extension. All facilities were excellent and clean. I would definitely stay with you again on a similar trip to the area. I would also happily recommend the Craiglynne Hotel.
Disliked: Nothing really, happy with everything - perhaps a choice of customer preferred eggs at breakfast time - everyone does scrambled eggs as it is more convenient. Poached eggs would have been good - only a very small suggestion. Overall, very pleased, would come again.
