Craig-y-Dderwen is a traditional hotel in the small but popular village of Betws-y-Coed. Just 5-10 minutes' walk from the village center Craig-y-Dderwen is the only hotel located away from its busy main road. A great place to stay...

Liked: Beautiful location and easy ten minute walk to the centre of Betws-y-Coed.Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient.
Disliked: A more varied dinner menu would have been great. Not a criticism just that nothing took our fancy.

Relaxing, just what we needed

Liked: Location quiet and relaxing. Restaurant was excellent, quality of food outstanding. Lovely log fire gave a cosy feel to bar area. Plenty of choice for breakfast and well cooked and presented.

Liked: The Hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the town of Betsy Coed. We booked a river view room and it was lovely. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. It had a balcony so we could enjoy the view. We chose to eat at the restaurant in the evening and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend it.The staff were very pleasant and helpful..We had a lovely stay. The open fire in the lounge was an added bonus.
