Disliked: some facilities need renewal, for example the toilet

Liked: Breakfast was well above average.
Disliked: The room we had was very tired although clean bathroom decor etc . definately needed a makeover. Other areas of the hotel very comfortable. Staff good etc.

Warm, comfortable and easy.

Liked: It was nice to have the choice of cafe/pub style meals and fine dining. The fireplaces everywhere were nice. The Art Gallery was incredible in fact it should be advertised as Galleries it was way more extensive that I thought. The location was great, close enough to all the walks etc.
Disliked: The spa bath in our room looked pretty ancient, I didn't risk turning on any of the jets.

Liked: Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was good, no problems. There were a number of excellent relaxation areas all with a view of the forest. Enjoyed a meal from the bar although it could have offered a few more choices. Didn't eat at the restaurant but it seemed popular with other guests.Breakfast included was great and appreciated with good hot and cold choices.Easy parking.Location was excellent. only a short distance to other places to eat and of course the Visitors Centre.
