Lively hotel in wilderness

Liked: The cradle mountain hotel is one of the 5-6 properties the close to the cradle mountain visitor lodge at a distance of just 900m. Closest are the weidham cabins further up Ronny creek and the peppers lodge for more accessible stay. The rooms are very clean. Got to see a wallaby right outside my window. WiFi is good. Akash who checked us in was very helpful. The food was good.
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable.

Liked: The location is good, the room and the restaurant are spacious. The walk outside the hotel is quiet and refreshing. We had a wonderful stay.
Disliked: The sound proof has room for improvement. We could hear people walking in the hallway and talking very clearly.

Liked: The Hotel is clean and has all the facilities, including great breakfast and great lunch and dinner options. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Had an amazing time staying at Cradle Mountain Hotel. Will definitely be back again.

Reasonable but not up to...

Liked: Friendly staff, useful location for national park, good breakfast and clean room.
Disliked: Very limited selection of food in restaurant. I am from a.small village in Derbyshire and am used to rural eateries. However, my dinner at this hotel was the worse vegan meal I have ever had. A real disappointment. The staff tried go be helpful with this but it would have been better to consider a vegan option from the get go, rather than an after thought. This hotel was an expensive option so I would have expected better.

Ideal location, friendly staff, great...

Liked: Drove to Cradle Mountain on a wet and windy day, Cradle Mountain Hotel was the haven we craved for, friendly staff, comfortable room, and clear instructions on how best to see the features in the National Park and the surrounding walks. All delivered with a smile. Went up to the National Park but the weather had closed in with mist and clouds covering the mountain. Hotel welcomed us back with roaring log fires in the lounges and the opportunity to sit back and relax, nurse a drink and share experiences. Great breakfast the following morning on a clear day, and the chance to see everything we missed the day before. An overnight is not enough to enjoy all there is to offer, but the Cradle Mountain Hotel is the ideal base from where to do it, regardless of how much time you have.
