Liked: The staff were all anxious to help and friendly.
Disliked: The location is perfect and the BBQ in the evening at the Woodshed bar was excellent.

Liked: The location is fab 5 mins drive into aviemore for cafes and shops etc, the hotel had a warm friendly family oriented atmosphere.
Disliked: The double beds were tiny

Perfect short break!

Liked: Lovely room, very nice communal areas with comfortable chairs and warm fires. Plenty of food which was always tasty. The woodshed bar was lovely, the barman very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again!!

Missold a hotel as pool...

Liked: The pool and sauna was closed and staff acted as if I was rude for asking.
Disliked: No compensation for lack of pool or sauna facilities. People are going hiking, at least give or offer free breakfast

Superb

Liked: This is our go-to hotel when we go to aviemore for a break or holiday.. it's in a beautiful location with plenty of activities to do in the surrounding area..friendly helpful staff great facilities at a affordable price.
Disliked: The pool facility was closed for the second visit due to unforseen problems.

Noisy very quiet no entertainment...

Liked: We try and visit once a year however this year there were work being done we were woken up at 8 am with workmen banging so wasn’t very relaxing also the double bed was very small and pillows were poor other than that it hasn’t put us off coming back.
Disliked: Work was being carried out swimming pool was closed
