Liked: Everything was great. Room was comfortable. Restaurant was close and delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and effortless. Staff was great
Disliked: Not the fault of the property at all but hearing the trains was mildly annoying when trying to get to sleep.

Very disappointing stay due to...

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Reception staff unhelpful in explaining where our room was located and we spent ages finding it in the dark. Difficult to find a carpark near our room (had lots of luggage). Tap in bathroom very loose and felt like it was about to fall off. Fridge handle broken and very sharp. Could not turn heating down so we had to use aircon and aircon remote did not work. One of the two lightbulbs in lounge did not work. Some wallpaper peeling off in hallway and lounge. Dirty windows.

Liked: Room was spacious. Great location to the dog area to let our pups out. Restaurant was great with super generous portion sizes. Friendly service from all the staff.
Disliked: Beds could have been a little more comfortable. We had too many issues with the door locks. We had to visit the office to get replacement keys multiple times.

Good for 1-2 nights in...

Liked: Rooms big enough and fairly new. Personal was very friendly and their restaurant is good.
Disliked: The Dalles is a quite industrial town, so expect some noise and quite some traffic.
