We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were pleased with the staff. Everyone we talked with was very helpful. The location was perfect for the things we were doing. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again!

The building is old but the room was very nice. The location was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The parking garage was very tight and limited spaces.

I would not stay there...

Liked: The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. We did not use the shuttle service, but I like the idea of it.
Disliked: The website stated that the Midlands restaurant was located in the hotel, it is not. That messed up our dining plans, as we had a concert to get to. The parking spaces are very tight and I did not feel that there should be an extra charge for parking. The shuttle service is free within 3 miles of the hotel, but we had no idea what was within that three miles. I would suggest that the hotel assemble a directory of points of interest for their traveling guests.

Liked: For the price they charged during family weekend, breakfast should have been included and parking should have been included.
Disliked: As all the hotels did, for family weekend, they quadrupled the prices knowing families will pay to come see their kids off to college. We are already paying the increased school tuitions, paying for airfare, paying for transportation, etc. Then to charge so much MORE than your usual. But yes, I paid. I will not be back though at those prices.

Liked: Didn’t realize until day 3 when we checked out that breakfast was included which makes us feel a little better after spending almost 6,000 for 2 rooms for 3 nights!
Disliked: PRICE! Ridiculous for family weekend!
