Disliked: Trouble with advance payment by Booking. com. Not an issue with Booking.com. Issue was with hotel finance. I spent 3 hours in total proving I had paid. There was no compensation for my time, given it was a limited visit with family.

We expected luxury but got...

Liked: The staff were polite and accommodating. The french fries were good. Beds were comfortable, and it was right by the airport, which made it convenient.
Disliked: The hotel was considerably more expensive than its immediate competition, but after spending a frustrating day at the airport, we decided to splurge on a bit of luxury, but we did not get that. The hotel was okay, but nothing extraordinary. The booking said that breakfast was available for $15, but it wasn't. The only place to eat was the "Bistro". The food was okay, but having to drink a caffe latte out of a paper cup was rather disconcerting. I ordered a frittata for breakfast. I got some nicely garnished scrambled eggs, but I would have expected toast or bread to come with it. The Monterey Jack cheese it contained had such a subtle flavour, it might as well not have been there. The air conditioner in the room was so loud it seemed there was a giant truck parked outside the room. The TV remote did not work. They replaced it promptly, but nonetheless the channel line-up was disappointing.
