Good & unique spot, always...

Disliked: Fitness room. Lots of space, little equipment. Not all of us live on treadmills....

This hotel is so cool....

Liked: This hotel is so “cool”, we were impressed.
Disliked: Nothing it was amazing

Very beautiful hotel, but horrible...

Liked: The hotel is a beautifully renovated building with nice rooms. There is a lot of parking and for us it was perfectly located for our business visits.
Disliked: The wifi didn't work, and it even seems you needed to register before using it, but we never could find out, as it didn't work in the first place. We called the reception and they connected us with "technical support", but they didn't get any further than "make sure your wifi is not turned off"... The breakfast is so-so.

Poor greeting remarks

Liked: The hotel is unique.We like how large and roomy the room was.
Disliked: Dawn, who checked us in, claimed we didn't have a reservation.We booked it thru Booking.com and had paid for the room. She asked if we charged it on MASTER card. It was paid for on Discover.She then typed our name in and got us a room with no problem. I did get a receipt upon leaving. Everything was OK.The way we were greeted is the reason the hotel is getting a GOOD rating.Telling someone you don't have a reservation isn't my way of greeting guests.

Very good

Liked: Nice suite.
Disliked: Friday night our staff was not pleasant. We also tried to swim Friday night and the pool was ice cole. I called the front desk and they said they would call maintenance. When we left on Sunday it was still not fixed. A pool is a must when we book. We were very disappointed.

Passable

Liked: Room size was very nice. The restaurant on the property is a must if you like smoked meat. We had more interaction/conversation with the restaurant staff then we did with hotel staff. Hotel staff was scarce.
Disliked: Would be beautiful facility if it wasn't so dirty. One of our beds had bloody bedding on it. (We didn't see it until we went to bed after midnight). There was a huge hairball right outside the elevator our entire stay. Trash over flowing the public trash in public areas

I would stay again if...

Liked: The hotel overall was a very cool, industrial vibe but also welcoming. Loves the high ceilings of the rooms.
Disliked: We booked because it had a "heated pool" to spend our time in. The pool was definitely not heated and we would not go in it just based on that. It was also just barely 3 ft deep so unless your planning a party for toddlers up to 6 year old this is not the place I'd book for family swimming.

Very good

Liked: I loved that it had a restaurant on site. I liked the look of the inside of the hotel. It was next to the John Deere Museum that we wanted to go to.
Disliked: I didn't like that the pool was too cold to swim in and I didn't like that breakfast cost extra.
