Great VB stay

Liked: Great location, great rooms with amazing views ( saw many dolphins from our balcony on top floors)

Exceptional

Liked: Loved everything pretty much. Only stayed a few days for Xmas and have only ever used this hotel. Always get the Huge suite bc of the size and number of ppl that come. Very comfortable and the showers/bathroom are amazing!
Disliked: Recommend getting a heater for the pool. Although it was indoors it was still pretty chilly.

Despite the negatives it was...

Liked: The evenings were quite but there was construction which was quite loud during the day. The room temp was OK but very dry which caused some breathing issues. Gym was small but good. Pool looked fine except on day was full of foam. Beach view was great. Plenty of great places to eat many withing walking distance.
Disliked: The rooms are showing their age; chipped enamel on the tub, rusty bolts holding the railing on the balcony, cracked and bubbled floor covering on balcony and damaged sliding door to balcony.

Lying front desk staff

Liked: Nice room, clean and good towels/supplies in room.
Disliked: Front desk staff assured us on Friday the super loud drilling would not happen over the weekend, or else we would have gone elsewhere. On Sunday morning we were awoken by super loud drilling just after 9:00 AM. The noise on the 9th floor was so loud that TV and normal conversation were not possible. We had to check out early. Ruined our stay. On checkout, front desk staff would only give a mechanical "sorry" to our frustration. Will not stay there again.

Liked: Loved the ocean views and balcony. I could see dolphin fins from my window!
Disliked: Our bathroom had an odd set up where the sink was outside of the main bathroom
