I would be very much inclined to stay again at the Courtyard Marriott Virginia Beach - lovely, comfortable room; very quiet facility; enthusiastic and welcoming staff!

Liked: Very quiet! The most quiet hotel in which I have ever stayed. Well decorated and furnished room, with lovely fixtures and finishes. Bed very comfortable. The persons serving in the Bistro were so pleasant, warm, and friendly - plus the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Disliked: The shower head in my bath could not be adjusted down or the type of stream changed - it was very vigorous and because I am short, it nearly hit me in the face!

Liked: The rooms were clean and the front desk reception was fantastic. When we checked in the gentleman gave us directions to our venue and was so positive.

Very good

Liked: Hotel under construction, customers should be made aware of this at the time of reservation.
Disliked: Mold on bathroom ceiling.

Disliked: Needs towel hooks closer to shower. Not just on bathroom door. And a towel rod in bathroom would be beneficial

Convenient Location

Liked: Convenient location, nice little bar and bistro. The rooms do have a little balcony which is nice to go out on but our room was facing the highway. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Newly renovated bath area.
Disliked: The property is under renovation and that was not disclosed prior to booking. Even though parts of our room appeared to have been renovated some of the furniture seemed old. The beds were not that comfortable and the sofa seemed to be broken down. However the bathroom area has been renovated.

Exceptional

Liked: Loved the staff. Super happy group and accomading!
Disliked: Nothing.

Very poor

Liked: My room was not cleaned to my standards. There was a visible blood stain on the sheets. There was hair in the towel, and the tub was visibly dirty.
Disliked: Housekeeping could have expected the sheets prior to or during making up the bed. The towels should have been expected prior to being placed in the room

Liked: It’s under renovation and the changes they are trying to implement, will be nice once finished.
Disliked: The staff at the Starbucks couldn’t speak good English. They were slow to wait on us and we couldn’t understand part of the conversation. It was very frustrating.
