Just OK. Another "big box"...

Liked: Was told at check in that since we booked on Booking.com they could not give us any other rooms except those on the road side. Noisy
Disliked: Too many hidden fees & charges. Also, lobby coffee bar didn't not open util 630am. Too late for morning coffee. Always a very long line of people just waiting around for them to open. Unsat. Also, were told at check in the $25/day fee for parking was a Sedona requirement and not Marriott. This is UNTRUE. Sedona has no such rule. Hyatt in downtown does not charge for parking neither the other hotel. Why did they have to lie about this? Just tell us they're trying to squeeze every nickel and dime out of us. Avoid if possible.

Disliked: The welcome was non existent! The person at reception didn't even have the courtesy to welcome us, say hello or ask what we were there for!!! Having handed us the keys, he couldn't even be bothered to show us where the elevators were located; we had to ask!!! My wife and I were traveling with a friend and I had booked both rooms together. They gave us rooms that were at completely opposite ends of the hotel and on different levels!!! The facilities, for the money, were underwhelming. No restaurant, as we were expecting, just microwaved food in a small food court. This was not a cheap stay and they didn't even make the bed or clean the bathroom. Value for money . . . 0I have been going to Marriott hotels for many years and this was one of the worst experiences!Find somewhere else to stay in Sedona!
