Disliked: I'm deeply disappointed with my recent stay at Courtyard Roseville, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others.Our stay (Dec. 25-26, 2024) was supposed to be special--l proposed to my partner during this trip. Unfortunately, the room's condition and the customer service ruined what should have been a joyful occasion.**Here's what went wrong:**- The **towel rack fell off the wall** just before we checked out.- The **ceiling paint was unfinished**, and the**wallpaper was peeling**- A **metal fixture sticking out of the bed** caused my partner to stub his foot.- The **bed collapsed** when my partner sat on it, and the frame was visibly uneven.These issues were not just inconvenient--they were unsafe and unacceptable.We informed Yolanda at the front desk during checkout, and her response was dismissive. All she said was, "I'll tell my staff, thank you for telling me," without making eye contact or acknowledging the seriousness of our concerns. Days later, I discovered they charged me $150.01 for alleged damages, including $100.01 for the bed. They even withheld my $50 deposit.To blame guests for damages caused by poor room maintenance is ridiculous. Yolanda also claimed we should have reported the issues at check-in, but most problems didn't become apparent until later. To make matters worse, her dismissive tone made us feel like we weren't being taken seriously-possibly because we're a same-sex couple, which made the situation feel even more upsetting.I'm appalled by this experience and urge others to think twice before staying here. A **celebratory occasion turned into a stressful nightmare** f, and I'm still waitingfor the refund I deserve. Marriott, you've lost my trust.
