Perfect Location Spacious good Energy...

Liked: The front desk staff are amazing. The housekeeping staff are very courteous. The rooms are very clean and spacious and well lit. The location is perfect if you have something to do downtown Pittsburgh. The strip with dozens of cool stores and cafes is just a 10 minute walk away and there are so many nice restaurants, along with the convention center and bendum center just next to the hotel. There is good coffee for money you can buy at the hotel bar.
Disliked: When we came at night the hallways on the 4th floor smelled bad. the room smelled good though. Also, this is a busy hotel so if you are looking for somewhere calm, i am not sure i would recommend it. the 4th floor was noisy but we don't mind. The price per night can be a little cheaper as not justifiable for what you get without breakfast.

Disliked: Sticky bathroom floor (we did not ask to fix it in their defense) The view. However staff informed me that it could be loud on city side, so I chose the other. I was happy she told me.

Liked: Our stay was amazing ! The entire staff from the valet, to desk, to supervisor were all pleasant and happy to help . Everyone was pleasant which is something you don’t find very often. One of the best stays we have had in our travels in years !

Liked: breakfast is not buffet . however, is of much better quality
Disliked: The room service facilities could have been improved a lot. they didn't replenish the bodywash in the bathroom which was already near empty when i checked in. room service was also not done on the last 2 days of my visit. They also didn't change sheets at all! I had requested a bathtub which they did provide however the bathtub was not working. Just to get the bathtub, I had initially compensated for a bland view from the hotel window which only overlooked the other half of the hotel building. Also, I just saw in the hotel folio that the rate was $319 for the last 2 nights! When I had booked through Booking.com, it had shown the rate as $189 which led me to incorrectly assume that this would be the fixed night rate. I can assure you $319 for the room and service that I got was definitely not worth it. If I ever do revisit Pittsburg, I will make it a point to avoid this hotel or even any Courtyard in this city .
