Family and I decided to take an overnight trip to Philadelphia to attend The Flyers Charity Carnival. Living in a rural area, this hotel was very quiet for being in the city. What we enjoyed most was, being that it is located in the Navy Yard, it was like a ghost town on a Saturday. This gave us plenty of opportunity to show our children the old Navy ships in peace and quiet. Sight seeing of historical things in Philadelphia are maybe 10 minutes away at most. Ultimately, if you are a Philadelphia sports fan it's a great location to get to the sports complexes really quickly. We didn't have dinner here, but we did have breakfast. Little pricey for a family of 4, but isn't everything expensive these days. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly to us. Only cons I have to say was paying for parking on site, though off street parking was free. There was a $90 hold on our card, but all said and done, total came to $30 and some change. The beds, to us, were not the most comfortable, a little too hard for our liking. Lastly, it's not a major thing, but in our shower, the water controls were on the opposite side of the shower head. All in all, we would go back if we were in the city for a game.
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Paying for parking.

Extremely clean room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in town for a concert and this was the closest hotel. We had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again.

Great location near all the stadiums if you are taking in an event. Subway stops are just north of there for access to the main part of the city.
Liked: The woman at the front desk on the weekend of March 10th was exceptional. She was helpful, friendly and accomodating.
