Disliked: I could hear the people in the next room, and the hotel charged me an extra $20 to park there for one night.

Can't believe it's $15 for parking - it ruined everything good. I won't stay there again and I'm in Orlando often - too bad!

Disliked: No bottled water in rooms and you have to buy water downstairs which is ridiculously expensive. First time seeing a hotel of this type not giving complimentary water. There's no kettle inside either to boil water. Very dissapointing!

Liked: It was very clean and the staff was a pleasure. The shuttle bus was readily available and the driver was exceptional as well.

Meticulous and the best friendly...

Liked: The staff always was polite, friendly, and helpful. The grounds were meticulous and tastefully decorated, and the room was clean and comfortable. It appeared that the hotel was new, which it wasn’t, but was well maintained. The hotel is an easy drive to the Orlando Art Museum, Lake Eola Light Show, The Phillips Theater’s Nutcracker Ballet, Daytona Beach and the historic St Augustine. Some of the best Asian restaurants are only a short drive from this Marriott. The area is also in a nice, safe residential area for a leisurely walk.
Disliked: Nothing.

Enjoyed our stay

Liked: Great location. Faculty was nice, clean and comfortable. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Great complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: The food was great for breakfast, but the staff at the counter was not very friendly. We did love the complimentary breakfast coupons.

Disliked: Overall, I thought it was a good experience. However, I was not satisfied with the treatment by the receptionists, who came across as dismissive and responded to questions in a manner that felt argumentative rather than explanatory. Another issue we encountered was the lack of clear communication regarding how the breakfast system worked.We were given two coupons for two days, but when we ordered breakfast, there was always confusion about what was included and what wasn’t. The woman taking our order had to call the receptionist for clarification, and we were then asked to sign the receipt for the order. Clear communication from the start about how the system works would have resolved this issue.
