Good Hotel, Great Location, Nice...
Liked: This is an excellent choice for a mid-range hotel located in a handy area of Manhattan. I had the food fortune to be provided a wheelchair-accessible room (I didn't need one) so had the luxury of a rather spacious room by New York standards. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom quite large and spotlessly clean. There's nothing particularly charming about the hotel, it is functioning, well-located, and the staff is efficient. In terms of value for money I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Nice calm location, but bad...
Liked: The location is good, on a calm area. Very close to Wall Street and close to metro and train connections. Nice location if you want to be close to Wall Street, Brooklyn bridge and Chinatown. Many good restaurants and food markets close by.
Disliked: The stay was overall quite disappointing, mainly because of the room. I had booked a king size bed and always when I've been staying in hotels in the States before, the beds have always been very good and big. However, now the bed was very small and I thought they had given me the wrong room. When I went to ask the reception about this, they told me I was in fact in the right room, and that's just the size of the king bed. When I asked what size their king beds are, they refused to answer. At least the king bed was smaller than what European standards have. It was also strange because the receptionist offered that we could change rooms the next day, but in his words "the chances are that the bed will still be the same size". That confused me since he had just told me we're staying in the correct room with the king size bed, the biggest one they have. When I asked about it, it felt like he was trying to avoid saying anything further and the whole situation was just very weird. Also, when I booked the accommodation, I asked to be situated as high up as possible in the building within our room classification. It would've been completely fine if that didn't happen, since I wasn't willing to pay extra for it. However the day after I had booked, the hotel emailed me saying that they can make it happen and give us a room high up, and we were very excited for it. When we got to the hotel, turns out we were definitely staying in the lower levels of the building.I wouldn't have minded that, but since they had especially emailed me that they can make it happen for no extra cost, and we had really been looking forward to it, it was just a very disappointing start to the stay. Also in general about the hotel, they have very slow elevators and many guests staying, so be prepared to wait for the elevator 5-10 min every time you want to use it. They have restaurants in the lower levels, so people outside the hotel will also use the elevator.
