Liked: We thought it was going to be a complimentary but it wasn't so we went out for breakfast.
Disliked: Check- in staff spoke so softly as an elderly perso i couldn't understand him. He repeated his question 4 times , didn't change the volume. That's was very frustrating and embarrassing. Finally my daughter stepped up and asked him what he needed from me. I'm not deaf but as an elderly person don't hear as well.

She actually gave us an eyeroll when we bothered her for coffee. Fire her immediately. I realize Hartford is the “City that never wakes”, but get some menus, etc to the front desk.

Disliked: Staff poorly communicated. I mistakenly book only one night instead of two, obviously my mistake, however if the person checking us in confirmed our length of our stay, it would have been less of an inconvenience.

Liked: The king-size room with whirlpool was great. The indoor pool temperature was comfortable. There is also a whirlpool there.
Disliked: The bistro closes at 9:30A. There's no other on-site coffee. There is a Keurig in the room. The K-Cup was a light roast. Not that tasty.
