Disliked: Rooms smelled old. Didn’t get room serviced and when I asked they said they only service every other day so only half your guests get proper service.

Disliked: I stayed at a Marriott Courtyard mainly because my trip was for business, and I was traveling to take an important exam at the Prometric center, which is conveniently close to the hotel. Despite there being several other hotels nearby, many of them more affordable and including breakfast, I chose the Marriott Courtyard because of its reputation and the belief that it would meet my needs. However, upon arrival, it was not what I expected.I stayed for two days, and the front desk staff was unhelpful and quite rude, especially Annabelle. Being a Courtyard, I expected the hotel to have fast internet, which I needed for preparing for my exam and handling work tasks. However, I never had access to the internet during my stay. When I approached the front desk to ask about it, Annabelle dismissively told me that if I couldn’t connect, then there was no internet, and there was nothing she could do about it. This forced me to leave the hotel to find internet elsewhere and complete my tasks.Additionally, when I returned from my trip, I noticed a charge on my credit card for something related to marketing that I did not authorize. I contacted the hotel, but their response was that the credit card is left on file for incidentals, which is common in all hotels, and there was nothing they could do about it. They did not resolve the fact that I was charged for something I didn’t purchase.On top of that, if you book through Booking.com, be aware that the hotel will charge an extra fee for using the platform. This was the first time I’ve experienced such a charge when booking through the app.The hotel does not provide daily cleaning services. However, the housekeeping staff was wonderful. They kindly replaced my towels, and I have no complaints about them. I’m not giving the hotel the lowest rating solely because of the housekeeping staff and because the bistro was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service from Cristina and Tasha was phenomenal.

Liked: The lady that was at the front desk Saturday night when I checked in was an absolute sweetheart. She was so kind to my son and also very kind to me. I wish I knew her name but she was a gem.
Disliked: Ice machines on the 3rd floor weren't working.

Disliked: I paid for a room with two beds and I got a room with ONE. And not even a sofa bed for the inconvenience. I had a two night stay and the second day they moved us into a room with a bed and a sofa bed and the sofa bed was broken. The bathroom is the room was handicapped- did not ask for a handicap room, therefore the shower head was not attached (easy for disabled or handicapped people) and I had to sit down to shower because I’m taller than 5 ft and that’s as high as the water would shoot out. Worst shower experience and I just lost power at my house, from the hurricane and had to shower OUTSIDE AND IT WAS BETTER THAN MY SHOWER AT THE HOTEL! Just awful.
