Disliked: Hairdryer required you to hold down button for whole duration of hair drying, no on/off switch Cleaning lady came into room without communicating that she was entering

The quality of the Courtyard...

Liked: Each of our rooms were well laid out and spacious. The bathrooms were clean and well presented with plenty of towels with nice touches such as the small toothpaste and moisturiser containers. I was very pleased with the availability of the shampoos and shower gel in the shower. I would also like to mention Matthew, who greeted us at the front desk when we arrived. He was welcoming, helpful, funny and informative regarding Scottish weddings, which was the purpose of our visit.
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever about any aspect of the hotel or its staff.

Peaceful area, friendly staff, clean...

Liked: Breakfast was great, room was also cozy and clean. Receptionist let us check in early which was a major plus after an early morning flight. Staff were also very friendly and nice to speak to offering great recommendations for first timers visiting Edinburgh.
Disliked: Not much to say here, great experience overall.

Very good

A wee bit disappointed

Liked: Clean room, comfy bed, and great location. Easy access to the city, plenty of buses and ample parking.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing. Very little choices compared to the last time I was there in September. We couldn't use the closet to hang our clothes as it was really smelly with body odour from the last occupants. Housekeeping should have cleaned it out before letting us stay in that room.
