Liked: Location and close amenities.
Disliked: Parking was absolutely terrible. Got back to hotel at 8:30 pm and had to keep driving around to find Parking space.

Liked: Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Maid service was non-existent. Coffee service in morning wasn’t available very early and then you had to “buy” the cup at front desk to use in a Starbucks machine. How about just provide good coffee in lobby and early enough for early birds.

The hotel is nice, however...
Liked: The hotel was nice, location was good.
Disliked: We visited CLT for one night to see family. My husband dropped me and our 3 kids off at our family's house and then went to the hotel to set up the pack 'N play and toddler bed for our 10 mo. old and 3 year old, to save us from needing to set it up late at night.Upon arriving at the hotel the manager would not let him check-in as the reservation was set up under my name. We asked what could be done, such as me sending him a picture of my ID (if he has access to a visual of my ID that should be understood as him being with me). The manager said that would not be okay.She said that we would need to change the name on the reservation to his. We made the booking through booking.com and so I changed the name on the booking.com reservation to his. I forwarded him the email confirmation and a screen shot of the app confirmation. That was not enough.She said the name change needed to be done on Marriott and she needed a Marriott confirmation number. If Marriot uses booking.com as a platform to allow for bookings at their hotel, changes should be able to be made through that platform. You should not use a platform if you don't accept adjustments to the reservation through that platform.In the end, he ended up leaving the hotel without checking in and met me back at our family's house. We had limited time with family and decided to make the most of it and check-in and set up the kids beds later that night when we left.When we arrived at the hotel, I got our three kids and myself out of the car and made my way to the front desk as my husband parked the car. I started to check-in when the receptionist asked for the reservation name. I laughed as I realized it was now under my husband's name and I'd need to wait for him. I started to explain that it was under his name. Much to my surprise the receptionist said "Oh, that's okay! We will get you checked in.

Labor Day Weekend of Fun...
Liked: Excellent faculty. Everything in the room and lounge was decorated nice and had an updated decor. Sleep was great as I never heard any noise coming from the hallways or outside from the parking lot. Hotel is approximately 15 minutes from downtown with many restaurants and grocery stores along the way. I’ll definitely stay on any return visit to the area.
