Very good

Great Hotel / Will Use...

Liked: This is my go-to hotel for Buffalo when I go to visit my son at college. Super comfy mattresses and linens, and the dining room while simple makes absolutely delicious meals! It is a huge bonus to be able to go downstairs early and get eggs and coffee or late and get soup and a glass of wine.
Disliked: Wish there were extra blankets in the room for cold nights, and wish the pool looked a little cheerier

Beware of double charging

Liked: Quick reservation and check in.
Disliked: The staying was charged through booking .com. Then hotel charged it again. When I noticed that on my credit card listing, I thought, no big deal, it happens. Called hotel, they confirmed double charge, apologized and promised to refund us. Never happened. I send three more messages, all ignored by the hotel. Then wrote to booking .com. The booking .com refunded me. Still not a word from the hotel. Be careful on check in and check out.

Good location wonderful staff and...

Liked: The staff was so wonderful. From the Frot desk to the women in the breakfast area. They all could not have been nicer.
Disliked: No complaints. Location for our needs was perfect.

Good value and location for...

Liked: We were not in a congested, touristy area, but we were very close/an easy drive to the attractions we wanted to see. Also, there was a café with Starbucks coffee in the lobby!Relatively speaking, the cost/value was good.
Disliked: I think the only ding was there was a rather large stain (appeared to be red wine?) On the middle of the carpet in our room. It appeared that someone tried to clean it, but it was quite apparent. The stain wasn't a big deal for this trip (we were out and about doing things--it was NOT a romantic, stay-in-the-room trip) but it did feel a little "icky", if you know what I mean.
