Very pleasant hotel

Liked: The room was very comfortable and inviting.
Disliked: I’m a local and had to explain the “reason” for my stay at check-in (basically beg to stay there.) I guess because I’ve never tried to stay at a hotel in Asheville I was unaware that it was prohibited as a local? I got turned away from 5 consecutive check-ins after booking through cheaper third-party booking providers.

Old. But better than most.

Liked: Left before breakfast began but had dinner night before at the bistro.Room was very nice.Bathroom needs exhaust fan and taller toilet and grab bar to get up from toilet.Pillows too soft and no extra pillow and blanket.All lights didn't work or I failed to understand switches. All outlets did not accept my plugins.
