Stunning

Liked: Amazing service, we were upgraded once we arrived, enjoyed a large beautiful suite, best sleep I’ve had all year. Everything we asked for the staff tended to immediately. Our room was clean and everything was perfect.
Disliked: The bowling alley was slightly faulty but we still had a great time

A short but pleasant stay…

Liked: Had all the basic things covered as you would expect from any hotel. And the room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. I parked at a euro car parks car park around the corner which was ok and seemed the closest being just a 6 min walk. The staff were very pleasant and efficient.
Disliked: The cups and kettle could have been cleaner, but in fairness this is usually the case of most hotels I have ever stayed in all over the world.

At least other hotels have...

Disliked: This hotel did not have a hot water in their showers, moreover the spa was smelly and the swimming pool was not clean at all. Additionally the staff did not reacted to comments about absence of hot water in the shower and did nothing!

Disliked: 3 TV's in the room. One did not work at all. One only had one channel and the remaining had all channels but rubbish picture quality. The bathroom plug did not work and so it was impoosible to run a bath. The shower rail which held the hand set was loose. The adjustable arm of the handset would not stay in place hence the handset kept sliding down to its lowest position. There was a shaving mirror in the bathroom but it was mounted at waist height!Night staff questioned my validity for being there and asked for key card as proof. Check out staff didn't ask how my stay was.

The service/food was not up...

Liked: The location was ideal for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.
Disliked: FRIDAY: we had booked a table in the restaurant, for Friday evening. The hotel didn't tell us that we could not eat in the main restaurant on Friday evening due to a block booking. If we had had this information I would have booked a table at a restaurant in Shoreditch. For our meal, we were seated at a very small table in a very cold room/bar - we only found out that this was were we were going to eat when we asked to see the menu to book our meals. I did complain to a receptionist on Saturday morning - she said she would report this to the manager.SUNDAY: the breakfast, on Sunday morning was appalling. No hot food when we went to serve ourselves. Poached eggs, UNCOOKED, coffee cold, toast not toasted - the worst 'English breakfast' we have ever had. We complained but we were still charged the full amount (£50/ two breakfasts). Overall, we did not receive the standard of food or service that I would expect, for the price we paid for our stay. I had stayed at this hotel in 2022, and it was very good, hence re-booking for this visit. I'm very disappointed by the bad service and it did spoil our actual weekend visit.

Disliked: We got there no parking when they said we had smashed icouldnt walk properly injury ,the food bar awful didn't eat any of starters ,The tv only had 1 channel,went down bar drink ,no malibu left ,no rum or no rose sparkling ,Fir a supposedly top hotel service awful ,and not having things even worse
