Liked: Room was spacious and comfortable, nice staff, made an exception for us with our cats.
Disliked: Management was terrible, ‘pet friendly’ just means dog friendly because they gave us a hard time about our 3 cats who we ensured to clean up after and wouldnt cause problems and almost didnt give us the room. The front desk called management 5+ times to get a hold of them to ask about an additional pet and still couldn’t get ahold of them. Said they would be inspecting for damage everyday but didnt and it made us anxious waiting even though we left the room as we found it and even wiped down the counters and nightstands just to be safe.We were just trying to evacuate from hurrican milton and they definitely tried to get as much cash as they could from us despite other hotels offering cheaper rates for evacuees but they were all booked. We also asked if we could have a late checkout, they gave us an extra hour but when we left there was literally nobody in the parking lot so i dont know why they needed us out so quickly. Staff themselves was very nice just the management and policies were ridiculous. We literally just stayed in our room for the 2 days and we felt like we were walking on eggshells.
