Better than most mid priced...

Liked: The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, the staff was attentive.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little sparsely decorated. There were no safety grab bars on the tub., The bathroom wasn't as clean as the main room. Bath towels were thin and skimpy, but acceptable.

Liked: I normally don’t write reviews but I need to for this location Convenient location good breakfast Staff was fine Room was not up to par. Stained mattresses Rusty fixtures in bathroom Poor paint job. If painting was done they never cleaned up after. Paint droppings on tub , some fixtures and curtainsToilet seat was wrinkly in places Yellow water stains on ceiling Peeling paint above shower on ceiling Very disappointed with this hotel

Liked: I've stayed here at this location at least 5 times in the last two months. This was my first time ever staying on the second floor but I won't be going back to the second floor. There was a horrible smell as soon as you get off the elevator and the room had an even worse smell. It smelled like a mixture of cigarettes and musty smell. I didn't Check into the hotel until around 1130 pm and went straight to get something to eat and get gas before going to the room. I didn't actually go into the room until around 130am and I felt it was to late to try to switch rooms so I just didn't say anything. I also could hear what sounded like someone bangging on the wall most of the night. I'm currently staying with family in Shivley and come all the way to this hotel just to have some piece and quiet and rest. I pass up quite a few hotels just to come to this one. I'll be back of course but I will NOT be staying on the second floor again! Everything else was great like always, the breakfast and the staff were great. For reference I was in room 218 directly across from the elevator. Even the curtains looked a little yellow. Maybe the room just needs a good deep cleaning curtains washed I'm not sure but the smell is overwhelming. Just wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience it if it can be fixed before that happens. Thanks for your listening and understanding!
