Liked: I've stayed here at this location at least 5 times in the last two months. This was my first time ever staying on the second floor but I won't be going back to the second floor. There was a horrible smell as soon as you get off the elevator and the room had an even worse smell. It smelled like a mixture of cigarettes and musty smell. I didn't Check into the hotel until around 1130 pm and went straight to get something to eat and get gas before going to the room. I didn't actually go into the room until around 130am and I felt it was to late to try to switch rooms so I just didn't say anything. I also could hear what sounded like someone bangging on the wall most of the night. I'm currently staying with family in Shivley and come all the way to this hotel just to have some piece and quiet and rest. I pass up quite a few hotels just to come to this one. I'll be back of course but I will NOT be staying on the second floor again! Everything else was great like always, the breakfast and the staff were great. For reference I was in room 218 directly across from the elevator. Even the curtains looked a little yellow. Maybe the room just needs a good deep cleaning curtains washed I'm not sure but the smell is overwhelming. Just wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience it if it can be fixed before that happens. Thanks for your listening and understanding!

Liked: The room is always vlean. The staff is really nice and friendly. The breakfast is hot and good! I love the room layout and size!

Liked: The location was good and check in was easy.
Disliked: The hotel pool was terribly cloudy. The carpets were clearly dirty and needed to be cleaned.

Not bad

Liked: I enjoyed the area, nice rooms, nice amount of space, and loved that both my rooms were across from one another, loved that they had a pool
Disliked: I did not like that the security deposit must be made in cash which was unexpected and I did not like that the lady at the front desk kept mixing us up with the black people on the other floor due to her stating we all look alike. Pool needs to be cleaned water looked a little dirty.

Bad

Liked: We stayed here for one night and were super unimpressed with the cleanliness and found roaches in the bathroom and the room was not clean upon check in.

Over stay was good.

Liked: Location to the nearest basketball stadium.
Disliked: Staff were not as friendly and very stand offish.
